PETGARD Soft Beef-Flavored Chewables are oral chewable tablets containing Fluralaner 100 mg per chewable, designed for dogs in the 4.5–10 kg weight range. Each package contains 3 soft beef-flavored chewables.
PETGARD is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and for the treatment and control of tick infestations, including black-legged ticks (Ixodes scapularis), American dog ticks (Dermacentor variabilis), brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus), Asian longhorned ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis), and lone star ticks (Amblyomma americanum).
The chewable is administered orally as a single monthly dose with food. According to the dosage information on the package, dogs weighing over 4.5 to 10 kg receive one 100 mg chewable per month, providing a minimum dose of 10 mg/kg fluralaner. Treatment may begin at any time of the year and can continue year-round without interruption.
